Expertise Summary

I have an in-depth knowledge of surface and colloid chemistry gained from PhD studies in waste water treatment and this was supplemented by 11 years as head of Materials and Process within the hard disk drive industry.

I worked for several years looking at the commercial application of surface sciences to the medical and veterinary areas specific to the use of antibody coated ferric nanoparticles and antibody encapsulation using sol-gels for detection of very low levels of antigens.

In recent years as a result of REACh legislation I have worked in the aerospace sector looking at new opportunities for removal of harmful substances from the workplace and introduction of alternates either directly from industry or through in-house development.
